Personal History I grew up in the desert of Northern New Mexico and the Southern mountains of Colorado.  I am blessed with a wonderful husband of 25 years, two amazing parents an awesome brother and many wonderful in laws.  My husband and I call Colorado our home, but we have had the privilege of living in many states including Virginia, Iowa, Texas, Indiana, and Tennessee.  We have traveled extensively throughout the United States and have had the wondrous experience of visiting several countries abroad. Living near the serene Rocky Mountains grants us a little slice of heaven minutes away from our back door.  I feel most at home in the mountains: hiking along the roaring rivers edge, finding a quiet place to sit, and drinking in the crisp, fragrant air rejuvenates my soul.  This rejuvenation is vital to my Spiritual life and my connection with God.  My Spiritual life is an ongoing journey of learning more about my relationship with God and how that plays out in everyday life.  Because of my personal journey over the years, I have discovered that this there is a gap between the fundamental, rule driven, boxed in form of Christianity of which I had been taught, and who God truly is.  Over many years of searching, learning and growing, God has bridged that gap and shown me how I can have a unique relationship with Him, one that aligns with who and how He designed me.  God has helped me understand and realize that He cares enough to make each of us special, and unique. We don't have to feel like we don't fit in any longer! And, He wants us to use the way He uniquely designed us so we can love fully, have purpose and meaning in our lives and share this with others. What freedom this brought to my life!  Traveling is one of my favorite ways to spend time and expand my horizons.  It is a constant reminder of what a big, beautiful world we get to live in. I believe we all share a commonality wherever we choose to call home.  That is, to live a purposeful life, make connections, love, and be loved. I greatly enjoy reading and a variety of arts including music, dance, and drawing. I believe it is essential to continuously seek ways for self-growth in my life journey.  Compassion, exhortation, active listening, and creativity are a few of the strengths and gifts God has given me.  I am blessed to have the opportunity to use them to their fullest which in turn gives me a very purposeful life.   Education & Business Background I received Coach training from Coach U, an International Training Institution for Corporate and Life Coaching. Coach U upholds Professional Standards, a Coaching Code of Ethics, at an advanced level training. I am a Certified Coach and Core Essentials Graduate, with a focus in Life & Spiritual Coaching. I have additional training in Group Coaching with Institute for Life Coach Training, and extensive training with a Mentor Coach. I have 4 years experience coaching men, women, teens in various areas of personal, career & Spiritual development. In 2006 I founded Paths of Discovery Life Coaching and continue to grow and expand the business through education, group coaching, workshops, and collaboration with other coaches.  Groups & Workshops I am Past President of the NCCA, Northern Colorado Coaching Alliance. I volunteered three years coaching/teaching life skills at a local teen recovery center and volunteered as local chapter leader, aiding the homeless with Homeless Gear. I am general partner/co-founder of TwoDays Remodeling and Design with my husband Brian Day. In business since 2001, we work on a variety of Home Remodeling Projects.  I have an associates degree in Cosmetology, and have worked in an assortment of salons across the country for over 20 years.
